- My name is Kristen Schnelle and this is the story of my family. After meeting the love of my life, Seth, we decided that we wanted to create our own American dream. So, I said goodbye to my job, house, worldly possessions, family, and friends, and we moved to Panama . After having our baby girl, Taelyn, we decided to move on to Playa del Carmen, Mexico and see what the Quintana Roo had to offer. It seems every day is an adventure and completely out of my comfort zone, but that's ok because we're doing it our way together.

ReplyDeleteDo children trick or treat on halloween night in playa de carmen? I will be visiting with my 5 year old and I'd love to be able to take him trick or treating. We'll be staying near xcaret and will be enjoying xcaret's activities on the 30th and 31st, but since my son is only 5, I'm sure he'd love some old fashioned trick or treating on Halloween night. Thanks! Tina

Yes, children do trick or treat in Playa! You mainly need to go to 5th St and the kids just go up to tourists and locals at the restaurants and ask for treats. Its perfectly acceptable and ok. I'd bring a costume ahead of time as the costumes available are pretty slim.
