Its Her Party and She'll Cry if She Wants To...

Taelyn celebrated the big numeral uno on December 23rd in Atlanta. So of course, we had a little birthday party for her. Since she was going through some serious separation anxiety and
meet the family overload, she pretty much cried through most of her party. Seth and I didn't let it bother us too much. More cake for us, right?
Taelyn showed us all that the only right way to eat cake is to put your foot in it. If only I'd known this years ago, eating would have been so much simpler!  Thanks for the tip, chica!
Overall, I'd say that Taelyn scored pretty well on the gifts. Nana gave her a big, humongous box of wooden blocks. She loves them, and they are currently scattered all over the living room, kitchen, dining room, and bedroom floors. The Atlanta Family gave her a fantastic hot pink tutu (which I'm secretly coveting) and matching outfit. (Don't get any ideas, Seth. It is a family blog after all!) The best part was the zebra print leg warmers that believe it or not she has worn quite a bit since we've returned to Playa. It gets chilly here at night and its nice to have something to slip on her legs without having to completely change her.
