Oh Yum! Five Guys Burgers!...

One of the places always, always, always on my eat list when I visit the states is Five Guys Burgers. Yum! Yum! Yum! Seth and I like this place so much that we would drive 30 minutes out of our way when we lived in Dallas to eat there because there wasn't one near our home. When I was in my first trimester, oh boy! I went to Five Guys every week. I just couldn't get enough. I love the messy, sloppy, greasiness of their burgers. I love the kazillion of burger options you can create because they have over 17 toppings to choose from to layer on top of your burger. I love the spicy cajun fries with spices so strong that you just can't wait to enhale them. Yes, I enhale the fries. Quite a sight to see, I tell ya! Yeah, I like me some Five Guys!

Some people think this place is overated. Some actually think that that the other burger place (eh hum..In 'n Out) is better. But seriously, who wants to eat a burger at a place that they only make it exactly the way "they" want it? So, I'll take my Five Guys Burgers and enjoy every last little bit of greasy heaven. How's that you ask? Little Bacon Cheeseburger with extra mayonaise, pickles, bar-b-que sauce, and lettuce with an order of small cajun fries and water. Gotta watch my girlish figure after all! (Don't think I don't go running like nobody's business the next day after a visit to Five Guys!)

I'll let you in on a secret. Well its not really a secret, but play along with me. My favorite part of Five Guys is the full order of fries that are always thrown in to the bottom of your bag. Its like digging through a Cracker Jack box to find your temporary tattoo suprise hidden in the middle of the box. I can never eat all those fries because the small order itself is so much, but I still like that they are there. Just in case there is a remote possibility that I may be able to eat them. I feel so warm and fuzzy, all inside.

  1. I've never been to Five Guys, but I've definitely heard of it. Growing up in Virginia, we didn't have Five Guys or In and Out :(

Chick-Fil-A and Arby's were big hang out spots for my high school friends.
