The rules basically go that I need to answer 10 questions about me and then pass the award on to another lucky blogger so they may share information about them. Oh, I how I love blogging
world. We're all so fascinated with hearing little facts about each other. So here it goes...
- Favorite Color? Its a toss up. Yellow would be my first choice and how fitting is that to go with the Sunshine Award? Its just a happy color. If I were allowed to say another it would be green because it just makes everything pop. Anyone else see the correlation between yellow (sun) and green (grass)? Completely unintentional.
- Favorite Animal? Dogs. I'm just a dog kind of girl. I tried to be a cat person, but I just don't jive with them. Dogs are just happy you're there or here or over there or anyway. They just love you all the time and for no other reason but because you are you.
- Favorite Number? 7. I know that may be so typical and boring, but its worked for me so far so why change now?
- Favorite Drink? Margarita on the rocks with salt. Yum! But then just today I had a rum punch which made me look completely touristy, but I was ok with it. I even had Seth take a pic which I'm sure will end up on the blog just to prove I had no shame. If I were to go with beer, then I'd say Negra Modelo with lime or a Snakebite (Guinness and cider) .
- Facebook or Twitter? Me is a Facebook kinda girl. I don't even own a Twitter account nor do I ever see myself getting one. I just love to see what's going on with people. Its kind of like your own little peep show into people's lives when you normally wouldn't care a thing about them if you didn't see them on Facebook. But suddenly, when you see a picture of their newborn smiling or their recent vacation, you are instantly re-involved in their life without having to get "involved." Gotta love Facebook!
- Your Passion? Cooking. I just love to cook and will sometimes make up to 2-3 full Entrees between the hours of 6am and noon. My husband, of course, loves that I cook and do it well. However, the scales do not necessary agree with my passion so I must continue to run so I can bake my cake and eat it too.
- Getting or Giving Presents? Giving of course! I love thinking of the perfect gift, buying it, wrapping it just right, and the build up of anticipation until they finally get to open it. Of course, I'm one of those annoying people that must tell you how much I thought about this gift, and how much I just knew you would love it.
- Favorite Day? Ok, for all your working people in the real world, I'm getting ready to say something that may just tick you off. Honestly, because of where we live and being I'm a stay at home mom, everyday is a fantastic day! I don't even usually know what day of the week it is unless I specifically look at a calendar. I don't even wear a watch. I have to remind myself to look at my phone just to make sure that I make it back in time for the baby's nap or feeding time or such. Sorry to my working friends.
- Favorite Flowers? Roses. Simple. Classic. Clean. Love 'em. They just make me smile. When we sold our house, I was just devastated to let me rose bushes go. I had spent 5 years nurturing them. Talking to them. Feeding them. Pruning them. Every May they would explode with hundreds and hundreds of buds and we would have roses all over the house for 2 weeks. I would have so many that I would make 3 and 4 dozen bouquet arrangements for my friends to take home. {weeping} I just loved my roses. But wait! This is a sunshine award so I will remember the good and know that someone else is getting to enjoy my roses now too!

ReplyDeleteWell, how funny is that? I went back to Sara's blog and she only has 9 questions. How about you tell us your favorite feature that you like about yourself. Me...I like my legs. Lucky for me so does my husband! :)
